"water park, water park!"
When Jack likes or is excited about something he repeats it over & over. I was glad we waited until right before we walked out the door to tell Jack we were going to a water park...because it's all we heard until we got there!
It wasn't really a "water park" but it was a community center with a swimming pool area designed for kids like 5 & under. Jack's been to Disneyland a lot & to be honest I think he had just as much fun in the 3 hours we were at the "community pool" than a whole day at Disneyland. Ha! For him to be free to run & play in water instead of pushed around in a stroller at Disneyland...way better! Hard as a parent to admit that - especially since we like Disneyland so much but...it's the reality!

Thankfully he wore floaties (called 'water wings' here) it made it easier for us for him to be able to just swim around confidently instead of cling to our necks!

Little mushrooms that squirt water...always fun!

A kiss for "Vi Vi"! Jack still calls Violet "Vi Vi". He can say Violet but he just nicknamed her Vi Vi & that's what he calls her! Sweet!

Funny story - Back in Visalia Violet slept in our closet at night because the kids would wake each other up in the morning. Most mornings we would open the closet & it would stink because she had pooped & the smell was trapped...so we'd call her Stinky Pete (from Toy Story). Even still, in the morning Violet has usually pooped & we come in to the room & it stinks! This morning Violet is sitting in her high chair already enjoying breakfast when Jack woke up. He comes in sleepily and stands next to her, puts her hand gently on her leg & sweetly says "Hi Stinky Pete!"

Violet also wore floaties & also enjoyed carrying one more around. We were glad she would wear floaties because she has ABSOLUTELY no fear of water!

Isn't she awesome?!

Quite a few of us went - we took an orange bus of course. It was about all Jack could handle that we were not only going to a "water park"...but "Uncle Ari" (he loves Ari our school leader) was driving an orange bus. Like all his favorite things colliding into one! Ha!

Ari getting tackled by William (5) & Phillip (2)!

Jack taking a moment to dance on a little platform where water was shooting up...Violet caught the groove & started dancing too! We love our weird kids...they bring SO much joy!!!

Having a blast!!!
Things are going good - we're SUPER DUPER busy throughout the week so we take advantage of the weekends & try to do something fun as a family!
We'll be sending a newsletter out hopefully soon with outreach locations & cost! If you feel led to support us that would ROCK...we're quite in need of funds!
You can send checks to my parent's address and make them out to John & Laurie Witty or YWAM Perth (not tax deductible). Please email me of you need my parent's address or our address here at YWAM Perth. wittyfamily@yahoo.com
Thanks & love!
