"Blue Lellow! Blue Lellow!"
What have we been up to?...
Lot's of fun stuff!

Mimi makes a crazy delicious bran muffin & she gives us a big tub of batter & we make a few "fresh outta the oven" bran muffins each morning until the sad day it runs out! Here's Violet enjoying hers!

The other morning Jack woke up with diaper rash...he was just crying so sadly so I comforted him & said, "do you want to go take a bath?" He said, "no" through big tears. So I said, "what about a bath with a num num?" (num num=sweet/candy). He said, "ok." He sat and just woke up in a nice warm bubble bath with a num num! These pictures are precious - he still has tears going down his face. We just love his hair - it's amazing & curly & hundreds of different shades of blonde/sandy brown!

CRAYON MAKING!!!! We took Jack's whole bag of old/broken/whole Crayons & we broke them all into little pieces & put them in a mini-muffin pan & melted them into little round Crayons! He loved it! He especially loved peeling the paper off the outside of the Crayon!

Almost ready to get all melty!

Just peeling a few more so there are lots of colors in each one!

"Blue Lellow! Blue Lellow!" Jack's excitement at all the colors was exclaiming, 'blue yellow, blue yellow' over & over! We put them in the freezer for 10 minutes & turned the pan over & they popped right out!

Voila! Crayons!

Downtown Visalia does this Christmas thing on Thursday nights with carolers, horse drawn carriage rides, stores open later...and YEP, FREE pictures with Santa on this lovely printed 4x6! Ha! I thought surely one or both kids would be crying but then they saw the large basket of candy canes as the end result if they sat still.

After we walked to a little hot dog stand called Taylor's Hot Dogs. We asked Jack how many hot dogs he wanted and he said "2" confidently. We bought him one. He ate it then looked at me knowingly. I said, do you want another one & he said, "yep"! He ate it. Violet ate her entire hot dog too...yummy!!!

When we got home Jack wanted to paint...I went to give Violet a bath and I hear "tribal Jack" in the kitchen...I come in to this cute face covered in paint!

Jack & Violet LOVE their blankies (gifts to them when they were born from a friend of my mom & dads)! Its sweet that Violet will find the little silky edge of here and run it through her fingers! They are starting to play more and more together - they make each other laugh a LOT & Jack even hugs Violet or lovingly squeezes her foot while I'm holding her!

We call Violet our "Little Eater"! She LOVES food! She notices Jack has a banana & she needs in on it!

Snuggling into their blankies & being silly on the sofa!

Taking a quick water break after all that playing!
So that's life lately - busy packing to move January 5th! It's a busy time with two little ones! Jack is all of two & very very very into firetrucks, watching daddy make fires in the fireplace & lately he likes to say "Australia"! Violet is one & loves to be held, tackled (yes, tackled) by her brother & eating!
Both ABSOLUTELY precious & the loves of our lives!
Hope this Christmas season is special & wonderful & meaningful!
