He got lots of Matchbox cars and a dump truck so he gathered all his cars & trucks and carried them to the dump truck, put them in and then stood by the front door and begged "dirt?" ... "outside?"! So we played outside in the planter for awhile!
"C'mon mom, enough with the pictures!" (He hates his picture taken...bummer for me)!
Papa & Mimi's house has a huge pile of dirt (and a huge hole) in the back yard which Jack has a blast in!
Using the wall as a chalkboard & a piece of rebar as "chalk"
When Jack saw the tractor he ran and got his tractor and pushed it along with a huge smile on his face!
He was so hot & dirty he opted for his underwear to play in! Ha!

Pretending to drive! He started shifting gears and pressing buttons so we had to make it quick!
John met us at Papa & Mimi's house and we ate lunch together then we had a fun dinner out at our favorite Mexican restaurant where we saw his cousins & Auntie & Uncle! So fun! THEN...we went to ice cream with Papa & Mimi and Jack had an absolute blast!
The celebrating will continue when we have a little party for his & Violet's combined birthday party in a couple weeks!
He's an amazing 2 year old and we are blessed by his life every single day!
Fun to watch him grow!
I love his expressions! How fun! Happy Birthday, Jack!!! And can't believe Violet's (which means Koa's, too) is around the corner- that went so fast!!!
